Fort Site Park

Visit Fort Site Park

Fort Site Park can be found right off of State Route 49 on the northwest side of town.

This 7.3 acre park is located adjacent to the Fort Recovery State Museum and the Fort and is bordered by the Wabash River.  The park consists of a larger ball diamond, restrooms, playground area, basketball court and three different shelter houses.  Very close to Van Trees Park and Hein Amphitheater, a short walking distance from the downtown area, and across the river from Ambassador Park.  The various activities that are held there annually make Fort Site Park a great location for visiting, gathering or participating in local activities.
