The Village of Fort Recovery continues to be proactive in the pursuit of community and economic development opportunities that fit our community’s growth goals and lifestyle. Since 1994, the Village has developed nearly 100 acres in Industrial Park lots and currently has nearly 30 acres available for immediate acquisition and development. The community focus has been on providing retention and expansion opportunities for our existing industrial/commercial businesses, while at the same time providing the opportunity for relocation or start-up activities for companies new to the Fort Recovery area. With the recent expansion of the Fort Recovery Industrial Park – West, there is currently 7 platted lots available ranging in size from 1.9 acres to the possibility of a 20 acres site. We pride ourselves on being able to make projects work and will assist potential business additions to our community in anyway possible. This includes the availability of tax incentives as we are located within a Business Enterprise Zone. With our location right off of State Route 49 and being less than an hour’s drive from three major interstates, we have access to many major Midwestern cities within a few hours drive. Our available lots are fully developed with all required utilities (water, sewer, electric, gas, and communications) and can be accessed immediately upon closing.
